In the not-to-distant future, Tokyo's on a one bad trip. First, a mayor Rokkaku Gouji tries to obliterate all freedom and culture from Tokyo using his money and power. Luckily, he was stopped before he destroyed the whole of Tokyo. However, now a new mayor Akane is in office, and she is set to fulfil Gouji's wishes.
You play as a member of the Rudie culture in the GG's; a Rudie is a skater, usually in a gang of other Rudies who are set to bury the conformist Tokyo in vibrant graffiti. The Rudie's were able to stop Gouji, even with their on battles. However a stronger enemy, Akane has appeared, and another new Rudie gang Genesis has been formed. Will you be able to defeat Akane while protecting your gang members and territory?
You wear a pair of futuristic skates which allow you to do crazy tricks such as grind up telephone phone poles, gain extra speed by shooting jets of flame out of the back of the skates.




Development Log

Some GUI done... Fixed the grinding again (5th time I think :S) I completely changed the code, soooooo hopefully it won't break another time... >_<

The reason why I'm not uploading a demo is because I like what I have to be perfect before I release it and I'm 'thin skinned'.

Working on a new map, well the tower of it. The turf is owned by Rapid 99 - 99th Street, I'll post pics once it is done, but not textures. (Once the tower is done, not the whole map)

Well the grinding stopped working for the FOURTH time. Damn bugs -.-

Well last night I retextured a character to make him look like the character from the 'real' game.

At the moment I am working on the prototype of the main menu using 3D Text.

This looks interesting, I'm looking forward to a demo some time (if you're planning to upload one).

EDIT: The spam filter seems to have wrongly removed the image links in your most recent dev log. Try posting them again - I've made the filter more lenient.

Hah, well it's still something I haven't seen much of, and IMO it looks better than most of the FPSes and RPGs that I see being made by most people.

@Alex - To upload an avatar go to the forums and click "My Controls." There should be a link to modify avatar settings on the left menu from there.

Looks really impressive, it's good to see individuals making games of this quality (I trust you do this mostly on your own?)

God I REALLY need to get into programming.

The video is really laggy, camstudio... I wouldn't recommend, use fraps.

Yeah but fraps can only do 30 secs, and I'm saving up for a new laptop.
